Default Today I'm replacing the Tie-rods on the Silver A8 I just got.
I was a little concerned because I know they can be hard to get out. Right PaulW!?

But they came out sooooo easy, only took 5-10 minutes a side to get them out.
Now I'm just waiting for UPS to get here with the new ones. They should be here any time.

Cost:
$50 for a set of Tie-rods
$70 for a four wheel alignment.

Default I'm thinking warm-weather car vs. cold-weather (= salt on roads) car.
The ones on the A6, which are identical, were pretty easy.

Default I agree, 3 years ago when I bought my first A8 it was a "cold weather car" and.....
Those Tie-rods were much harder to replace.
