Default today went lapping with new pads...

yup tried to lap again with my little brakes.and good results not extraordinary but better then the hp+ from hawk.
I tried the ht8 from hawk which takes twice the heat,1400f!!!

it litteraly melted my lead on in the rim!!!it unglued and fell on the pads and melted in front of my eyes!
but didnt feel any fade but felt that the pressure given from the caliper isnt enough.so it tended to still be a long brake period but much beter then the hp+.

just dont use this pad on the street, you can install them from home and go to the track and back but don't leave them on cause they are going to bite through your discs.

I tried them cause the guy I know at trac racing gave me a huge deal on them, instead of 430$ for the set,I paid 50$.

the reason he gave me a deal is they tested those on the track with their race car and noticed that when push really hard little pieces come off along he sides (like mine did)
but man do they stop!!

but I'm still thinking in buying a car to do some track with instead of using the A8...

Default buy an old miata.... :-D

you'll spend fractional amounts on brakes, tires, and gas, not to mention not risking your daily driver. Plus you might even have MORE fun!
