Top Gear Episode for S8?
Did they ever do a review of a 2001-2003 S8? I havn't seen one, but if anyone can confirm that they did in fact produce one, that would be great! Or if there is a link to it on their site or something...

Unfortunately, no American auto enthusiast TV show is good enough to hold Top Gear's **** bucket.
Maybe a Google search would turn up some info.

When you compare *genuinely* enthusiastic people who are driving professionals giving well-spoken reviews of great cars to US shows where some fat, bored bearded loser in a MEMBERS ONLY jacket mumbles something that puts you to sleep .. no f'ing contest.

Definitely...I spent many hours watching all the episodes on youtube! Top Gear always had the best
hosts! Much better than that stupid Ex Trans Am candy *** Tommy Kendall that hosts that Speed Channel show. All he talks about is his former career and himself. I love how he got owned by Danica Patrick on a road course on the show.
The comedy of Clarkson, Hammond, May makes the show. Tiff Needell was a great commentator as well in the older shows. Top gear was on the Discovery channel here, but I dunno what happened.

That's why my dad records the show for me in the Netherlands and mails them to me in the US.
I agree that American TV has no interesting car shows for real car enthusiasts. Why Top Gear is not available on BBC America or even Speed TV is a BIG mystery to me.

Same applies to SpeedTV's coverage of F1 racing vs. the 4 races broadcast by ABC Sports.
When ABC covers F1 I turn the volume down so that I don't hear the comments of Bob Jenkins or Ben Edwards explaing F1 to a 5-yr-old-level audience.

lol thats funny...like the time at the Canadian GP where Schumi came within milimeters of the
"champions wall" and they commented that you couldnt fit a "*** wrapper" between the tires and the wall.
Of course they had to translate that to the "baseball fans" so there werent any misunderstandings!
