Do you know how hard is it to replace them or make them quiet?

Default It is easy to remove the whole thing.

6 bolts for the drive shaft, 6 bolts for each axle, there is a heat shield on the driver's side, 2 bolts on the front and 3 bolts on the rear and the whole thing is out. Now it is easy to inspect the bearings for play. I don't know how hard is to get bearings and how much $. I have a complete rear end, email me if you are interested.
