I was browsing ETKA and I concluded that the rear end DAK and DQA is the same thing except of the two flange shafts that the 2 drive shafts connect to. The DQA flange shafts are 108 mm long and the DAK flange shafts are 100mm long. Do you think that I could use the DAK with my old flange shafts. You see I can get the DAK for $75 from a local junk yard. The ETKA part numbers for the two carriers are all the same except of those two half shafts.

Remove it and take it with you to the junk yard. If it fits you've got a score for $75.

ETKA and vagcat give the same part # for those bolts for DAJ DAK DQA and DXT.
I never thought I would be able to get away with this for $75.
