Might be selling or trading my beloved Audi soon. Specifics are:
2001 A8L with 117k miles, Silver with Black
Cam Belt and Water Pump done at 106k miles
Interior is a 9.5 out of 10
Exterior is a 8.8 out of 10 (nose road rash, 1 ding)
New 18" RS-4 wheels with Conti tires
Navigation system
Ski Bag
Garage kept, and extremely clean in and out
BAD: intermittent power lock issue, manually ok
Great car with many miles left.

What are your opinions as to the value? I have thick skin so you can be brutally honest. Thank You Everyone.

I've been watching with great interest as I'm itching badly for an S8. Seems like they're touching 15K with fewer mikes. I'm guessing something like $11,500.00. Other voices from the group?

Temporarily without an Audi and plan to fix that.

The mint cond 72K 03 only brought $14.5 retail !! That was wholesale value. I have an 01 and I have an 02 coming in...guess I'll have to GIVE them away. Our cars are relatively worthless, or maybe KC is just a bad Audi market. I am going to quit dealing in A8's (but continue driving mine of course).

I don't mind letting my car go for a reasonable value if I'm getting a reasonable price for a D3. I've really been studying up on the D3 and am looking at an 04 or 05 with miles from 50k to maybe 70k. Asking prices range from low 20s to about 30. I checked ebay's completed auctions as suggested by RANGERVR4.2 and not many are selling at all. Sad thing is, that where I live you RARELY see an A8, let alone find them for sale. So I must drive at least an hour but usually quite a bit more to see just one or two. Should I be worried about "big city" cars? The few I've seen look aweful beat up paint-wise?
