Tranny thump returns - it's back!!!!
What's the saying - what goes away by itself also comes back by itself?
At 68k now, tranny fluid & filter change done 4k miles ago. Same issue - when accel/kickdown whilst having been cruising for a while, and the almighty KLUNK.

Did anyone here actually talk to a trans specialist and have their tranny rebuilt? Do we know what it is yet(it's not low fluid)? Is it the torque converter?
I have taken to cruising in tiptronic mode instead of D and changing up to 4 instead of using kickdown - don't seem to get any thump when doing that.
