I'm trying to get my head around the design of the Quattro trans. There's a picture of a sectioned one in audipages, which shows a driveshaft coming off at an angle towards the front. There doesn't seem to be a front differential as I know it though, and it doesn't look like there would even be room for one because of the torque converter and bellhousing. And it appears there must be a shaft within a shaft to get power in and out of the torsen on the engine side?
I was hoping the ETKA on elcats.ru could provide some info but the site isn't accessible.
Does anyone know where some pictures of the transmission's internals could be found? I'd just like to know how it works.
Thanks
