Transmission Fluid Flush for 2000 A8 - Volume?

I had the transmission fluid flushed by the dealer today. They told me that the 2000 A8 does NOT have a transmission filter to change. Can anyone verify this?
Secondly, the invoice shows that they used 6 (six) quarts of ATF(part#G-052-162-A2). Is this enough fluid?
Finally, they charged me $168 for the service ($14.74 per quart). Is this a reasonable price?
Gotta tell ya, it sounds like it just had a new oil change and my slight shifting hesitation under heavy acceleration between 2nd and 3rd is now GONE!
Thanks to everyone for the advice and prodding to get this work done. I hope they did it right!

Whoever told you that is either ignorant or lying, take your pick.<ul><li><a href="http://www.audipages.com/Tech_Articles/auto_transmission/autotranservicing.html">Audi A8 Transmission Service procedure at Audipages. My A8 in the first pic.</a></li></ul>

6 (six) quarts is about the right amount since they did not get eveverthing out.
The cost ($168) also reflects that they not take the time to remove the pan.
Drive it for a week then take it back and have them redo the job.

but not one on 2000 A8s. The picture you provided shows a 1998 A8. Do you have (or know where) I can get a picture for the 2000 that shows the filter? It would make my discussion with the dealer a lot easier when I ask them to redo the job.
Thanks.
Thanks.

All D2 A8's came with a 5HP24A tranny. The 97's came with one of three types, either a DPZ, DSM or DTE.
All A8's from there on out (98-03) came with 5HP24A type DTE, just like the late 97's did.
So I don't know what to tell them, except they don't have it correct!

Sorry to hear that.
This type of poor transmission service seems to be the normal type of responses we see with Audi Service technicians. Where is the trust anymore!
Could it be Audi does not document how to do this?
I suggest yes since they don't' recommend changing it at all. That is one of the items on my list to the advocate that DID NOT CALL ME BACK! See advocate post for an update.
