The transmission holds a total 10.4 quarts. When you drop the pan and drain it you are only able replace about half of it, the rest stays in the TC etc.

Dropped the pan last night and was amazed on how dirty everything was, the pan, filter, magnets. There was no metal shavings but there was alot of grease or grime on everything. still waiting for the filter and atf.

I am so mad!! Changed the Filter, changed the ATF by procedure and it still doesn't drive. Is it slipping or is the torque converter not holding??
Also Tozo you mentioned that it was the F seal.. I thought that was for the reverse gear. I feel as though only first and second gears are slipping. When it goes into limp mode and im at the correct speed for the 4th gear it doesn't slip.
would it be the same kind of rebuild? how much? This is really costing me..
are those my only options? rebuild or another tranny?

I've never said that you have a F piston problem. Your clutch A is broken. That's why I said that if the level is correct then you need a rebuild trans. Clutch A is 1st-2nd-3rd-4th gear. You have a 730 and probably a 732 code. There is no way to fix it other than a rebuild.
