My previous post on Friday explained how I was charged $600 by my Audi dealer for the tranny fluid/filter. Needless to say, the phone tag game between the owner/service manager and I is in full force. So far, I've gotten the service advisor to admit that only seven liters were put in, not the nine I was charged for ($26/liter!!!). I'm hoping to get some resolution soon...I'll keep you posted!

00011 does make a difference. I usually drive around town in "3". I'm going to be changing my tran fluid so will be interested in the potential change. Feeling the upshift at a stop sign 2 -1.
Do you feel that at all?

Our A6 is a 2.8 and the A8 is a 4.2 so they have different trannys. My point is that it seems logical to change the ATF in both at the same intervals...they both have similiar moving parts that need protection and filters that clog up with whiffle dust etc.

Is it possible the qty is 7 qts w/o draining the torque converter and 9 qts with draining it?? Or is it 7 qts with draining torque converter??
