transmission woes...

If it is high milleage with no history, I would do what A8CT did. This way you keep the old fluid flowing without causing any dirt to loosen and clog anything. And Tozo is right ( no kidding LOL) at first I lost reverse on the 325. I red lined the engine and moved the shifter to R, reverse came back, and a month later I had leaks from the converter. The transmission oil cooler was clogged, and it was a good think I tried to flush it before I put in the new tranny. The pump wouldn't go down. I had to use a compressor, and you know what happened to me once it got unclogged
The car had 78k but it was in NYC traffic all its life.

I hear a little whine when cold and very little low end "thump" when stopping (very rare). So youre say a tranny flush is a no no?
I'm confused...

I notice it coming from under the car when accelerating, I didnt think it could be anything else. I want to hopefully fix it before it gets worse.. seems to be damned if I dont... maybe damned if I do with new fluid.
It shifts quite smooth otherwise...
