Ok guys I have searched and searched on different forums and can't find an answer to my problem, a problem which I see a few different people also have... I also tried searching here as well


somehow I managed to turn my trip computer off... I turned off the car with my wipers on, then when I came back to the car and turned it on, I turned off the blades before driving and I could see the trip computer was on, as in the msg "press break before changing gear" I could also press the "check" button and everything would show up fine.. BUT the moment I put the car out of P and into any other gear, the trip computer went ALL black... I could STILL press check and everything would be displayed but then would turn off again.. basically my access to information like what gear the car is in, the MPG and temperature and all that is completely gone...


anyone know any resolution to this problem, i just bought the car 2 days ago...

There is a button on the bottom of the stalk you use to change the trip "mode", I'll look for a pic.

Isn't that changed by pressing the reset button on the bottom of the wiper stalk?
