The 18" wheels are beautiful, yet not made for upstate NY winters (Michelin MXM4). So I've ordered the winter package from Tirerack (16" AT Italia S5 wheels with Michelin Pilot Alpin tires). With 12 feet of snow per winter (December to April) I need something that can handle the conditions. The new wheels and tires go on the car Thursday. I'll let you all know how they handle after a few hundred miles and snow storms later. I struggled with the 17" versus 16" wheel trade-offs. The guys at TR pushed me to the 16". We'll see.
