You could have talked them out of the cash difference. They took your old car just to make you to drive the 6 off the lot. They new you were not going to WALK away ;-))

There are no fewer than 6 A8s in my extended area for less than $7 offered on CL. Jeesh I like mine!

Default The truth is that he doesn't know either. The dealer showed him a number ..

that he wanted to see and they really gave him something else. Dealers do not lose, it's all a numbers game. For example If they showed him $6,ooo then the other $3,ooo came from somewhere else, gross of the new car, via rebate, all money made in the finance office or aftermarket sales.
