or maybe your tech can do a write up to explain the details..... I don't care about the NAV portion as I have a TomTom I love, but would love to get the phone working through the audio section and the auto mute etc....

supplied headset and soldered on two audio jacks to plug into the a/v switching hub-this left the mic intact for hands free -then set the phone to auto answer on headset.
The a/v switch box feeds the audio to the amp via a switched relay into the cd audio in for the amp. This allows me to use the cd and then simply flick the switch in the cubby hole to toggle to a/v audio in and then to choose which feed using the video switching box
The relay is hidden beneath the cd player and wired to the switch hidden in driver side cubby hole.
Other audio and video in feeds are added via the a/v switching box-and garmin talks to bluetooth satellite reciever valcroed to roof lining $49.00 on ebay [pictured].
Small program called frankston gate is required to translate Garmin to nmea signal.
Hope this makes some sense
