Twisted the ABS sensor around while the car was running. Now the light stays on all the time.

I think something is wrong with the cable or the sensor went bad. Where does the other end of the cable go. I have to trace it down. How do you detach the cable from the sensor. In other words any tips will be appreciated.

depends on the driver side it is easy to get too look under the abs pump I think and you should see the plug. on the passenger side it is under the airbox.. have to take the whole air box out. sounds like you have a open (broken wire). cut it near the sensor (leave enough room to solder and then near the plug side and solder in 2 new wires. Only do this much of the wire if you don't know where the open is. for me mine was about 6inches up from the abs sensor itself. don't forget to remove the rubber groumts and reuse them. they keep all the wires in place and from getting twisted or pinched.
