This is on the second day. This is after 2 1/2 hours of in the car instruction and 1 hour classroom. My instructor has signed me off to drive "solo". There was a white Lotus Elise that was always in front of me, in every session prior to this one, for the whole weekend. I really wanted to catch him and pass if possible. Just as a personal goal to see if I'm improving etc. The two clips below are of the same session. I just had to break it up because youtube won't let you upload anything longer than 10 min.
The camera mount got a little loose too. It starts tipping forward and backward. Sorry. Have fun.
I'll try and make one over the weekend with all the funny stuff that happened and was said.

Nope, didn't overshoot any entry. I can see how you think that though. It's kinda hard to explain without drawing it out or something but the way two of the turns are designed in this track, if you apex the first one correctly, it puts you on the wrong side of the track to apex the next turn right behind it. The second turn is the one that has a long strait after it, so you need the speed out of the second turn, not the first so you get a good run on the strait. So what they told us in class is the first turn is a "throw away turn" You give up the typical proper approach on the first turn, so you can be set up right for the one prior to the strait. So what you see in a couple of those turns in the video is, I go into the first turn as fast as I can and use all the track all the way to the outside, then stab the break and turn hard and aim for the right side of the track so I can apex the second turn correctly.
Hope that makes sense, it's hard to put into words.
Brakes worked perfect all weekend. I didn't have street pads in though, used these

And yes the car has stock suspension
