Upgrading the "Magic 3" wires.
Everyone in the car stereo world referes to these as the key to keeping your electrical system at its peak. I was wondering if you guys could lend me a hand.
1. Add larger wire from Battery to Chasis Ground
On our car where is this? aluminum is hard to ground. Do we have a specific point that will work?
2. Larger wire from Alternator to Battery
I am running 1/0 Gauge (even with stock alt) The long run from front to back can greate a decent voltage drop almost 10%. When added the larger wire to the stock alternator i noticed a difference. The slight dim in lights at idle in the winter time went away.
3. Larger wire from engine/alt shell to ground.
I have completed the upgrades to the Positive side, however i need to find a good spot to ground the block and the battery.

If you remove the passenger side trim in the trunk, you should find a good ground spot. I never opened the right side, but the battery is there. The ground wire should be short.

Doesn't the battery's ground wire ...
run to a terminal hidden behind the plastic liner in the front passenger-side wheel well?
... At least that's what I recall from a previous post, and that this terminal corrodes and causes grounding problems.
