Default Using the stock GPS antenna

Hi,

The car is a -98 A8. I am trying to use the stock GPS antenna mounted on rear trunk with my Holux 236 GPSlim Bluetooth unit. I bought a suitable SMB-MMCX adapter from ebay and hooked it to the antenna.

The problem is that I am not sure if this works. The output of the module is 3 volts. Is this too low for the stock antenna?

If I measured correctly the impedance of the stock antenna is 260 ohms. Can this be correct? All ebay GPS antennas seem to be 50 ohms.

Is the stock antenna a passive GPS antenna or is it an active model (with separate power)? I believe it is passive.

Just in case.... factory GPS was not offered until 2000. Is the antenna from a facelift car?
