Vag-com auto code
My vag-com trans scan throws up a brakelight switch no sinal but this goes away on putting my foot on the brake.
I assume that this is only because the trans is looking for a signal which is only there with the brake applied.
Any thoughts??

You always get that, if you haven't put your foot on the brake before VAG-COMing
the trans.
A known item. Not even an issue. Just put your foot on the brake once before scanning.
