then one other 'mod' that would be quite interesting, if possible, would be to supercharge it with, say, 2 PES G2 systems made for the v6 2.8... i'm quite sure it could be done, might have to put another hood on it with a 'special mod', giant bubble...enough jocularity, wonder, but 421 ps should be enough...

As far as the typical DIY maintenance work is concerned, you sound more than capable.

Otherwise, if something goes wrong engine-wise, run and hide.

Default That is not true air-susp. It's a system that can pump extra gas into the shock. (more inside)

It's not like the system from a D3 or Allroad at all :-)

It's more a regular type D2 shockabsorber at the rear that you have, which is filled with Nitrogen gas (which is normal for all D2's on all corners) but has an external gas-reservoir + pump which can pump extra gas in the shock when you load something heavy in the boot (or let gas flow back into the reservoir when it's no longer needed).
It's a semi-dynamic system which checks boot-overhang at an interval and than decides to pump extra gas in to the rear shock (or let some out).

True air-suspension (with bladders) was introduced on the D3 (and was standard on all D3 models).

Re: "but 421 ps should be enough". It's the torque that will flabbergast you. It's immense :-)

Default In Italy I think they tax by engine displacement - ouch!

This guy apparently had money to burn. He's seems to have a parking ticket as well.
