This is all just a guess
But I think the new S8 (2005) and RS8 (2006) will have the 12 cylinder engine. Only I think it will be an all new four cam 48V V12 (6L on the S8 and 6.5L on the RS8). Horsepower and torque will most likely be 480 hp @ 8,000 RPM, 500 ft/lbs of torque @ 1,500-3,000 RPM for the S8 and 520 hp @ 8,000 RPM, 540 ft/lbs of torque for the RS8. Again this is all just a guess. I do NOT know for sure this will be the case but it makes sense to me. It would probably make sense to most other people on this board as well.
