Default want to lower my A8 suggestions?

Gotta lower at least 1.4".I was suggested eibach springs and bilstein sport shocks.but could adjustable coil-overs be better then just a simple spring?I live close to montreal quebec we have lots of snow and salt.and heard that brake pad hawk hp plus would be the best choice with brembos.Cause I want to do some solo with the car,any upgrade on the motor would be good also.

Default I have the eibach and bilsteins installed and drive in Monteal. You might want to think twice

about doing this due to the terrible Quebec roads!!

I don't think so...I saw in a S4 article a stasis coil-over it was said it was one of the best you can have.
Landjet,is it beacause it's to firmer then the original?

Is it because it's to firm?

Default Only to firm when hitting one of our many cracks or potholes. It's a trade of.

Handling is crisper, especially in summer with Goodyear F1 tires. But there is some loss of the luxury ride.

Actually I really want to lower the car more than to get it firmer cause I feel it's already firm enough wonder if I only change the springs to eibach?

If you are serious about competing in soloII racing, make sure you stay clear of certain upgrades that will bump you into the next class. Then you'll be competing against guys and girls with big pocketbooks and insane upgrades. When I raced my GTI, I did pretty well in stock class. I saw some people upgrade and never get close to the rest of their competitors. The only thing I did was shocks and filter. If you are in it just for the fun, I would suggest an adjustable setup so you can change it when you go out to race. Just remember that the spring rate and damping rate should be carefully selected together to get the proper handling. Changing to a lower profile tire will also lower you car.

Default That might be a good compromise. The lower height with the eibach's also

improves the look.
