Water leaking through the trunk lid... ???
Every time I open my trunk lid, a stream of water comes shooting down from behind the tail light covers of the trunk lid lights. Is there a common place these leak, or am I looking at faulty tail light gaskets?
Additionally, where can I purchase new tail light sockets for the red-illuminated rear light on the trunk lid portion, since due to the water, they have rusted out and are unusable.
Thanks!

Happened to me - do you have a sunroof? If you do...
there is a drain that runs down to the rear wheel arches past where the cd changer etc are. Check it isn't blocked at the wheel and has disconnected in the trunk. It will require a bit of trim removal etc.. to view.

Re: any trim removal tips? how did you do it?
My car is prefacelift and the boot trim is held by pop fasteners all the way round. Remove the plastic piece at the top and start pulling gently from around the brake lights.

You have to prise off the plastic trim around the boot lip...
to Always Overcharged.. that is exactly what I first noticed. Then after investigation I pulled back the trim behind the cd changer etc. There is a thick rubber tube that comes down along the side and connects to an exit pipe above the rear wheel. The 2 had come apart. Speaking with a friend who worked for VW/Audi for years it is a common issue.
