dammm!! Your plate is full!!
Have Fun. I am planning on replacing my brakeline to stainless also (Got from ebay for $99 also). Change the ATE brake fluid.
Also change the stoneguard on the rear bottom of passenger door. (It is yellowing and shows bad on Pearl paint).

Default My car will probably be parked alongside yours when you take it in for the tranny rebuild.

As luck would have it, I was one of the few whom did not see stellar results with a tranny fluid/filter change. When I did the first fluid change, my fluid was full of metallic particles and my magnets looked like Chia pets. I also had the whirring sound. The fluid filter change got rid of the whirring, and did make shifts smoother, but I now started to get a slipping/thunking while accelerating (not the typical deccelerating thunk, which I still have and never have been able to get rid of). After awhile, the shifts started to get rough again and I did a second fluid change (7500 miles later). Very little metal on the magnets, which is good, fluid was dark but not bad. BUT MY CAR DID NOT LIKE THE SECOND FLUID CHANGE. It made the slipping much worse during acceleration, to the point it thunks most of the time (the slow down thunk, the shift thunk, and now an accel thunk). The tranny is not long for life I fear. That place in IL that does them for $2500 is quite a bargain, I hope they turn out to be a good outfit. I was considering getting one from Phoenix for $1795, but I have no idea what it would cost to have a shop swap them and it is a project I dare not tackle.

GO ALL THE WAY. Buy the total front protection film. It is much better than a bra. I have them on and it is very nice.

Default I called the shop and spoke with the mechanic..

He told me that they just did a 98... he said it took 1 week and was 2550 everything included...

They rebuild them to 03 specs with tripple clutch plates and over 20 updates to spec from 97..

Default Did he ever take his car to them for a new trans?

I saw that post as well, but was hoping someone actually had experience with them.
