I went to FL with my kids and Kimberly, my significant other to Daytona Beach Shores for a week. What a time! It was nice to take a break.

Some funny pictures of our trip....went to the Hooters Pro Cup Series 250 lap race at New Smyrna Raceway on Saturday night with my son Evan. Those guys hang it out about 20 times more than I do on the track!

Went and did go karts with the family on Monday, Kimberly and I did the nitro alley cars....350 CI V8's, hit the gas when the light turns, it cruises down the track, you hit a button to shift half way down, then the track slows you down like crazy! Just like a roller coaster slows you down, about twice the G's as accelerating.

You get two runs....she beat me in both.... ;-) You can see she got the hole shot in the picture below....

About 0-75 MPH in 3.9 seconds.....very fun.
