were all 2001 S8 models created equal (in size)?
My lease was up on a 2001 S8 model with about 25K miles and my plans were to purchase it. The staff at the audi dealership offered me an ?identical 2001 S8 to buy with more miles but at a nicer price---i took it.
It seems that the car might be a bit smaller and therefore less luxurious, but i am not quite sure and i cant find anywhere that more than one size was ever made that year. Anyone know for sure?

Why not buy the known quantity?
It'd have to be a huge price difference to switch to a car whose history you don't really know, and with more miles. I'd at least pull the codes with a VAG-COM.

2nd - the only bigger model is A8L - SWB are all the same size
And what's more, luxury has little or nothing to do with that. That's just a matter of options.
Maybe a darker interior makes it appear smaller?
