What does the speed limiter feel like?

Good question: I haven't tried it w/ an auto, only w/ manual cars before
What happens is that fuel injection cuts off and revs fall down below the limit, while you're in-gear. Takes a while to get back up the power curve.
Not sure what happens with an auto box though. It could just be that it up-shifts at 7K RPMs..

Using the Tip on track ...
I use it to downshift under braking, but never upshift. The few times I tried, half the time the Tip and I both shifted at the same time, and I ended up two gears. I don't know how accurate the tach is, but it looks like the Tip shifts at 7300 rpm.
