Default what my car looked like yesterday

Hard to tell from this angle but the drifts were about mid door high and the front was up to the top of the hood. Our drive is about 11 inches below the level of the road so all in all there is about 30 inches of snow in front of the car. It was really fun to dig it out. As you get closer to my house the depth is about 40-45 inches. You will notice that the snow looks brown, that is sand from the beach. All the snow blew off the beach and landed in my front yard, the sand then came along as well. So first we got blasted with snow then with sand. If you look between the house you will see a picnic table, just beyond that is the beach and Lake Huron. They say another 3-10 inches tonight with more on the way. Seems like the way winter used to be when I was a kid. I guess I am going to have to buy a snow blower this week.

Default Dang Global Warming sure is a bother.

I can't believe you almost live in the Great White North, and don't have a snow blower. ;-)

Default up until three months ago I lived in a loft and total snow fall for the past couple of years has

been only twenty or thirty inches all year. no need if you are only going move an inch or two at a time. Looks like that is a thing of the past. I know however, the minute I go and spend a grand on a snow blower that will be it for the year and I can think of a great deal of other toys that I would rather put that money to. Just to be safe I am spending the morning tomarrow looking for a good deal on a snow blower. You are welcome to come up and help shovel

Default 70 here in west Texas, I like snow but damn!

I was in Moscow for 14 months. It didn't get above -30 for a whole month; one time it snowed 3 feet in about 3 hours. We were crazy and went for a bike ride through town. Would've been fun to have the A8 then...
