I'm trying to buy some S8 wheels, and I've seen some S8 wheels lately that show numbering and lettering that would indicate that the wheels are Audi brand wheels, but I think they are probably the pre-facelift Euro S8 Avus wheels, which seem to be a little different.

For those folks who have a 2001-2002 S8 with Avus wheels, what is the lettering and numbering on your wheels in that area around the lug bolts, when you take your center caps off?
1) Does the mfr name say Ronal, or Speedline?
2) Does it show 18x8 as the size?
3) Does it show ET48 as the offset, or some other number?
4) What is the complete Audi part number (it'll probably start with "4D0-601-")?

Anybody who wants to chime in here with details on the differences between the USA market 2001/2002 S8 Avus wheels, and the pre-facelift Euro S8 Avus wheels, please do so.

Does anybody know if the center caps from 2001/2002 S8's will fit the pre-facelift Euro S8 wheels?

I bought these from a guy who had them on his A4. He said they were European S8 wheels and they seemed authentic...
