Whats should a 4 wheel alignment run? Signs of needing one?

Re: Whats should a 4 wheel alignment run? Signs of needing one?
I "think" it runs about $160+ at the dealer. Supposedly too, only a dealer can do a quattro alignment though I have had a good one (to me)done at the local mechanic for half that price.
Symptoms are a shake, shimmy, vibration, pulling in one direction, steering wheel not staying centered when going straight... also, unevenly worn tires (at which point you may need not only an alignment but new tires too

There's nothing magic about it. I've got a good performance tire shop that does mine, I know their alignment tech fairly well, would go to him before I'd go to the dealer. $90 or $100 here in ATL.

recently paid 180 to have it done at nj dealer
should run ~160 or so at dealer and ~100 at an independent. i would have taken it to an independent, but i can't seem to locate one that have done or knows how to do a quattro wheel alignment.
