Wheel decision

Will 18x8, ET 37mm work with 2001, A8L and will this stick out more than the stock wheels? What size tires would you recommend?

The 18x8 ET37 wheel with a 245/45-18 tire is about perfect

Since the '01 S8's stock set-up is an 18x8 ET39 wheel with a 245/45-18 tire, your wheel will be 11mm further out, an improvement in both appearence and handling. See the audipages <A HREF="http://www.audipages.com/upgrades/tiresizeoptions.html">A8/S8 Tire Options</a> for additional information.
