Wheel fitment Question, need some help?

Have a 01 s8 found a wheel package 18x8.5 and 18x9.5 with a 30mm. offset would this combo fit my car with the same tire size all around also would there be any adverse effect on the transmission.

Why stay with the same diameter? Those stock wheels are beautiful, I were to change the wheels, go

bigger to 19s or 20s like Randy's.

I would say the with 30mm ET, they would stick out of the fender well.
