Wheel offset question...
I have a set of Gunmetal Luff M1s 19x8.5 et 38 that I was gonna put on my previous B5 S4 with 15mm spacers. So what kind of clearance am I gonna need to fit these wheels on my 02 S8? I gotta figure out what size tire to throw on there too, is 235/35 series tires too thin? Thanks guys!

They should fit/look just fine as they are. *Maybe* a 5mm spacer. I'm running 19x8.5 CHs ET 35
and the fit just so IMO. For tires I'm running 255 40s. I think there are some pics in my poster.

19x8.5 et 38 with 255/40-19 tires is ideal.
In the summer I run 20x9 et39 with a 255/35-20 tire, a slightly wider wheel with the same overall tire diameter. See <a href="http://www.audipages.com/upgrades/tiresizeoptions.html">A8/S8 Tire Options</a>. That's my car <a href="http://wheelsperformancecom.stores.yahoo.net/audia8hre546.html">Here</a>, though they called it an A8 :-(
Your tire will move inboard 1mm from this.

I have Luff M1 19x8.5 with +20mm ET and my previous wheel were 19x8.5 with +35 ET and they worked
without any spacers. Like Ryoung has said, 19x8.5 38 ET is a great fitment with your S8.
