Hi, I am thinking of buying this tire/wheel pacakge:

any problem with this size: wheels' size is 17X7, the bolt pattern is 5X112

tires are 225 45 HR17

Will speedometer be much off? by how much??

You want at least a 7.5" rim with a 17" wheel, all A8's came with a 8" rim.

Stock tire size for a 225 is 225/55/17.

Is this an A6 combo? The tire OD is too small.

Don't know what you are looking for, but get a 17x8 or 18x8 wheel, I wouldn't bother with a 7.5 wheel. The stock 16's came with 16x7.5 wheels.

Agree, the tire is way undersized and would have accelerated wear.

It helped.

These ended were for an A6. It was a pretty good deal on eBay. Tire/wheel package sold for 450$ shipped. Tires were pilots with 3k on them. (At least this is what was stated!
