Wheelchair in A8

Wheelchair in A8
Does anyone have experience with a wheelchair in the A8? It fits fine in the rear of the A6 Avant but it is tiresome folding it up etc. Was hoping to fold it together and lift it into footwell behind passenger or driver seat. Thank you very much for any info.

Re: Wheelchair in A8
Guess it depends on the wheelchair.
I had a couple of months in a wheelchair last year after a racing accident. Used to fold it up and put it in the trunk. It would fit behind the front seats as well, but I didn't want to risk harming the leather, so I didn't do this. You also might risk damaging the roof upholstry this way as you lift the wheelchair up and out.
If you are able to use the trunk, I think that is the best solution.
