Default Tx for taking the time to provide the detailed response - I was afraid you would think...

...I was being a smartass.

Sorry, I should have rephrased my "8J" question - what does "J" stand for? I figured the 8 to be the width.

Maybe the braking distances are affected if one goes to a radically greater offset - lik et25 or something. I measured my braking distances with my Race Technology AC-22 before and after brake block install while running et35 - and the 'before' data was consistent with OEM spec @ et48.

and

While I don't have the luxury of hitting 130 for 4hrs straight... 2hrs isn't unheard of in my cars' lives, and trip dig's are a daily affair day in day out. Allegedly. No failures.

'Twas all I was saying.

I did run my rental @ 120 for 3k miles across much of Europe so sure - I know where you're coming from with that insight.

Tx again - I wasn't bustin your stones, just providing counterpoint.

BTW, I'm insanely jealous at the color of your D2 - looks stunning with the Avus wheels on there good for you.

Default The "J" in the wheel-width stands for the "Tyre bead profiles/rim contour designations". See inside.

I found an english spoken article. Spares me the write-up ;-)

(yes i'm lazy sometimes :-)
