Default Where to get new wiper blades?

Mine finally gave up the ghost. Can I just get some from my local Checker or should I order some special Audi ones online somewhere?

I'd hate to miss out on wiping performance. There's nothing quite as satisfying as a good wipe

I used the Bosch micro edge inserts. They work just fine. 22" IIRC

Default i bought the Bosch Floppy ones...they "technically" arent made for the A8 but they fit fine...

and they work AMAZINGLY. I got mine at Autozone I believe. Just use the ones for the A6. You can usually get an employee to test fit one on your car. I HIGHLY recommend them.

Default How did you fix the "org.passenger side = curved" problem? (the Bosch Aerotwin blades are straight).

Rotating the passenger side's arm upwards a notch can create problems with the driver side's arm hitting the other arm.

To compensate for that one could also rotate the drivers side a notch but that looks like crap. The arm then becomes too visible.

I went down this road already but never solved the "having to rotate both arms a notch upwards making it look like ****" problem so i went back to stock wiper-blades.
Other facelift A8 owners over here had the same issues and went back to OEM also.

Default Expensive or cheap - they all seem to last about 6 months for me.

So I buy cheap ones at Autozone. The A8s take fairly generic wipers.

Default the only issue i have is that my pass side end doesnt hit the very outside edge of the window

i can take a snap of what it looks like. Like I said, its not exact, due to the curved window but they work so well that I can overlook the little tiny miss on the far right bottom corner of the windshield

Default Stick with OEM. I got craptastic Duralast which never wiped good.

Heres a link to a site with them. If you have the OEM wipers (aero blade) just buy the inserts or buy blades at your FLAPS and pull the inserts out. The OEM blades wipe the best and do not skip across the windshield.<ul><li><a href="http://www.autohausaz.com/search/product.aspx?sid=3xyagve2azpj4s55j140yz45&amp;make id=800002@Audi&amp;modelid=1370797@A8%20QUATTRO%20 &amp;year=2001&amp;cid=35@Wipers%20%26%20Wiper%20S ystem&amp;gid=8852@Wiper%20Blade%20Assembly">http:

Just pick up the rubber inserts and replace just that. They will conform to the curve.
