Why do I pay so much much for insurance? I move around alot, and it is high everywhere

Well, I am going to get a house soon, and tommorrow I will be a little older,
but getting married? That is the craziest suggestion I have ever heard. I'm just kidding, some day I will have to grow up and settle down.

Re: Why do I pay so much much ...
Part of it is your age. I wanted to get a Subaru SVX when I was 24 and asked my insurance agent about it. $350/month at that age, $150/month if I was 25. I bought the car on my 25th birthday.
Also, the A8 i$ expen$ive to repair, but that is probably offset by two things: a) it is a very safe car, i.e., injury to yourself and the occupants (the most expensive thing to fix after an accident) would be exponentially lower than in, say, a Ford Exploder, a tiny car like a Chevy Aveo, etc., and b) Your A8 is not likely to 'walk off' without you in the way an Acura Integra or even Audi S4 might. Someone might steal an A8 for a joyride, but the owner pool is too small to sell off stolen parts; nowhere to hide. And I'm sure I can count on both hands the number of shops in this country that actually have the equipment to break up aluminum cars. Just my 0.2 cents.

Do you all have full coverage?
I'm looking to upgrade from my '95 90Q to an A8 and insurance would be $220 for 'full' coverage. I just have liability on the 90 and it's $105 a month for an A8 it would be $10 more a month.
When I turn 25 next summer the full coverage will drop to $135 for an A8. And I asked about getting married and it went down a little bit but 25 was the huge change.

I have never owned a cheap car to insure(3000GT, Formula V8, Civic SI) but never this much...
I was told it went up that high because of San Antonio having so many un-insured motorists, and that when I moved it would go back down to the $140 range. I asked what happened my agent told me he had no idea why VA went up so high.
