A stock A8 wheel is 8" ET48. This wheel is 8.5" ET20!? You wouldn't need spacers, you'd need un-spacers, and I don't think anyone has figured out how to build those. ;-)
Stick those numbers in Randy's wheel offset calculator, and it says:
Your new wheel will have the following chracteristics:
The clearance from stut housing to the inside of the wheel will be 22mm MORE
The outside edge of the wheel will EXTEND an extra 34mm
I think you'd be rubbing the fender when you compressed the suspension, though I haven't gone down to the garage to eyeball it.
Playing with the calculator, I'd think you'd want more like an ET42 in an 8.5" wheel, which keeps the inside clearance the same, and pushes the outside edge out the additional 1/2".
OK, just dug through ETKA a little. It catalogs a 8.5x20 A8 wheel at ET45, so within 3mm of what I suggested just above.
I really don't think ET20 works at all. Where did you get that part number?

Randy's offset calculator link from a couple of posts down.

That's an allroad wheel. Don't know the reasons why, but they've got a substantially different wheel/hub setup than other Audis. And really, A8s are substantially different than A4s/S4s/A6s/S6s, which I believe all work about the same when it comes to wheel offsets.
I note Audi doesn't catalog an 8.5" RS4 wheel for the A8. The S6 8.5" wheel probably doesn't work, either. It's ET30, still a long way from ET42 or ET45 (from my earlier post).

The RS4 wheel he seems to be wanting, at 8.5x18, is only available from Audi in ET20 and ET30. Would ET30 work, or would that extra 5mm get you into the edge of the fender?
Part number here is 4B3 601 025R (or maybe 025J - 1 suffix out of ETKA, the other from an Audi Collection and Accessories catalog).
