I might be able to help... do you have a picture or the specs on RS6 caliper... the bolt spacing on the A8 calipier is 140MM or about 5.6' Eithway I dont think it's a viable option because the RS6 calipers are in short supply and we would have to pay the dealer top dollar. If they just bolt on maybe it's worth it. A better option is a bracket to adapt porsche 993 calipers. Porsche 993 Calipers have a horizontial 130mm bolt spacing and are in plentyful supply. The BIRA kit uses a rare and expensive caliper with 140mm spacing so unless you're tracking your car the expense and extra unspring weight of the rotor is not well suited for daily driving. A stock rotor with a porsche 993 caliper would be inexpensive and offer an imporvement in feel.

Default Basically why I ask is ....Oh well they are gone

well they were there last night $1800 in the want ad.

now gone. oh well, back to choosing between the ECS floating rotors or just slotted rotors from them or ebay.

I just dont think the reduced weight is worth the essentially $600. I dont race/track the car just wanted a little better heat resistant braking because I COOKED them one day and for the last 6/7 months they have been grinding. and not the good kind for all you clubbers out there.

Default I have the ECS rotors...

They are awsome and made a noticeable diffrence in ride. Get 'em. You wont regret it. I'm working an a way to use Porsche caliper... today I ordered a spindle so I can start prototyping.

Default It's just as well. ... RS6 brakes overheat easily.

Here was my Two Cents responding to the question "What's the problem" with RS6 brakes. You wouldn't have the high HP issue, but the RS6 pads are very small.

Try BIRA.org for brake upgrade. They might have something using Porsche calipers.
