Default window slowing down/sticking last 1-2"

I'm troubleshooting a guys '98 pass side window, wondering if anyone else has had this problem:

Window goes up and down normally but slows down and then stops about an inch or two from the top. Sounds normal until it reaches that point. I can grab the glass and help it to about 3/4" from closed but no further.

Any ideas?

Bob
