most of those "quick lube" guyz are just kids right out of high school or jail
they're learning on your car.... learning how to F-it up that is!!!!
i took my car to one of those places (i had the oil filter), suddenly i see one of the kids was about to add regular antifreeze (as a topper) into the power steering reserve (mineral oil ONLY stamped on the damm thing).... i said "dude... whatcha doing".. he looked at me and said "i guess that's not where this stuff goes"... NO!!! i said; he then went over to his buddies mentioning something with a snicker
forget it i said and left zippy quick
stay away from them places.........

well.. not sludge, but sometimes u get grim and loose filaments in the oil pan
that these suction thing-ma-jings can't suck out, then all this stuff just keeps recirculating
