anyone know of a cause of a sound that sounds as if someone is tapping on a hollow wooden instrument.. it a combination of a tapping/whirling noise coming from the left front tire.. only happens when turning a full left or right, such as at an intersection or a u-turn.

the car otherwise handles very well, tires are relatively brand-new... the abs light does come on and off (but i figure thats a dirty sensor that i'll look at once these damm monsoons rains end)
