Default Is it worth it?

Greetings,
New to the forum but have been an Audi owner for the past 4 years. Had a 01 A4 2.8 5sp Quattro and now have an 01 A8L. Over the past 5 months I have replaced the fuel pump, the water pump (and of course the timing belt), rear brakes and rotors and a few other minor repairs. Almost $5K later and at 126K miles i now have issues with the cat. convertors, the ABS system and pulled my diagnostics to find this:

I understand these cars need a lot of care and feeding, but just wanted to get a read from other members on wether or not it is worth investing more $ into this car to fix it or simply let it go. So far I have paid more in maint than I have in car pmts. Thx for letting' me complain a little.

I take it "I have replaced..." means "I paid someone to replace..." If you have to make payments on a eight-year-old car (including full-coverage insurance) and you don't DIY for most repairs, it can get pretty expensive. That's why all my cars but one are 1995 vintage or older and we paid cash for the '02 S8.

How much do you like the car?

A new one can be quite expensive.

I just "fixed my cat issue, same one" the post is on QW basically you need to remove the 02 sensor, trim the tin around the tip and buy some spark plug non-foulers from a local autoparts store. HELP section part # 42009 you have to use a 1/2 drill bit and drill one out.
The drilled one will be on top, the non-drilled one on bottom, screw them into the 02 bung under the car and reinstall your 02 sensor.

mine's fine now.

It's a great $5 fix.

Payments are small. Needed to replace a second vehicle and found this one with only 95K miles and a complete maintenance history for $12K.

I like it, but it seems like I am having a new issue with the car every few weeks.

Definitely give this a try.. remember bank 2 is the driver's side (in the US) and it's a really easy fix i've logged over 1,000 miles now and everything is still great, no CEL.
