Default Is it worth it to purchase 4 4wire universal Bosch sensors?

For 65 dollars each, or should i spend the 166 each from vwparts.com?
I was going to replace all of them for 65k miles and solder the connections on.

Default sensors for what?

way to check would be use the bosch website and reference the part numbers directly.

Default Connections on 02 sensor wires are not easy to solder

I believe they are tinned wires, I did what you are referring to on my last car, couldn't get it hot enough to solder.

If you were to go with a generic model, I would get some high quality in line crimp connections, crimp them and heat shrink the connection.

Default The O2 sensors are well monitored and long lasting, so why change them on a schedule?

The A8's heated oxygen sensors last can last several times longer than old unheated Bosch sensors which were scheduled replacement items in some cars. And with two sensors in each exhaust stream, the computer can tell when one of them is getting unresponsive and turn on the check engine light. So I wonder why you want to change them all now. Have you had problems with one? If so, I'd be tempted to change only it.

Default AS far as that ive always made a habit of changing them every 60k miles

On my A6 i used bosch's universals and just soldered the audi harness on them and it ran for a long time. Unless you think these sensors will go for much longer. When should they be changed?

Default

I wouldn't change them unless they had problems
