Ok, so I bought a silver 2001 A8L 3 days ago, and was just looking on this site of the specs and features, to compare with my car...

My car is missing things! It doesn't have the parktronic, tiptronic shifts on the wheel, and the solar sunroof (if it is actually standard because it's not on your site for the 2001)

The car is still under warenty, so if these things arn't supposed to be missing, will it be installed? When I asked the guy who sold me the car about this, he said cars from the USA are different from cars in Canada (Im in Toronto) which I think is BS...

None of this is a big deal (I don't really like the beeping anyway from the parktronic) but the wheel shifts would have been really cool

Your car isn't missing stuff, if it didn't come with it, it didn't come with it.

For '01, the parktronic and solar sunroof were options (I don't have them either) and I believe the steering wheel with tips buttons was only available (but standard) on the S8.

This applies to BOTH US and Canada spec cars.

Our A8L (in Toronto), bought new, came with the tip buttons on steering wheel, Parktronic was optional, as was solar sunroof and the 17 or 18 wheels.

yep, I think standard on the 01 models.
