Default X post from A4 forum....Anyone know where to buy the ATF gravity filler for a tiptronic?

Someone had posted a few weeks ago about this tool, it's a container that you hang from the hood of the car with a tube that comes out and gravity feeds fluid into the Tip gearbox...Seems hard to find. I know its a "VAG" tool so I'm not sure if anyone even sells it. Thanks all,

-Matt

Most just use an outboard motor transfer pump. They're ~$10

Default I use this- works very well.

I use Duct Tape to hold the hose in place as it goes into the tranny fill plug.

http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/ctaf/Displayitem.taf?itemnumber=37739</a

Default Keeping tube in the fill hole

You can use ski's trick of duct taping the hose to the pan, or do what I did, and take a piece of copper tubing, bend a semi-circle in one end, and hose clamp it to the pump hose. The semi-circle acts as a "hook" to keep the hose/tube in the tranny fill hole.
