Did someone already achieve a conversion XENON - Bi-XENON?
POSSIBLE? -- NOT POSSIBLE?
I already asked this question on the A6 FORUM, and one has advise me to put a POST on the A8 FORUM.

I have an AUDI A6 (year 2000), with OEM XENON.
I have a complete kit of Bi-XENON projector.
It is possible to install the Bi-XENON projector, instead XENON projetor?

The bi-xenon projector lens is a larger diameter than the standard/xenon projectors (at least for the '97-'99 A8).

I will need to modify the cast aluminim support inside the headlight housing AND machine a mounting adapter to get these to fit. A LOT of work, I'm not yet sure it will be worth it. Let me know what you find out.

You tell about a conversion with Halogen as bsis headlight.

If I take an XENON headlight as basis???

for the 1997-1999 A8. The Xenon upgrade from Halogen is a drop-in replacement for these years.

It is the Bi-XENON Lens that has a bigger diameter than XENON and HALOGEN.
It is therefore not possible to make this conversion XENON - Bi-XENON.

As you, I am very disappointed that I can't make this conversion.
